The GEL-CUMULUS® 16 PRE-SCHOOL sneaker sources inspiration from the distance running shoe that was popular in 2014.
Its upper construction references the look of technical mid-2010s running shoes, featuring a fusion of synthetic leather overlays, no-sew paneling, and open mesh underlays.
The tooling design is also influenced by ASICS® Institute of Sport Science insights and developed with greater flexibility in the forefoot and stability in the midfoot to help support kids' growing feet. The design is inspired by ASICS® archive models and combines the flowing lines and scalloped edges of the 2000s and 2010s.
